    Job Summary:

    • The Delivery Manager, Application Management is responsible for supporting the business process applications across EBS (Enterprise Business Systems). This position ensures that the systems needed to support the mission, goals, and operations of Allegis Group, Inc. are provided in a timely, accurate, creative, and cost-effective manner. The Delivery Manager is expected to build a scalable, responsive organization to help improve the usability and efficacy of commercial off the shelf (COTS), custom in house applications, mobile applications, and Cloud Solutions (SaaS), all delivered and supported in alignment with the global business strategy. In carrying out the functions and responsibilities of this position, s/he is administratively responsible to the Director of Enterprise Business Systems and is accountable for project completion to key executives and key business units within the Allegis Operating Companies. This position will direct the efforts of business systems development, implementation and support organization, inclusive of internal employees, onshore and offshore contractors and multiple partnerships across the globe. S/he will lead and manage the development and practices of DevOps capabilities within the EBS delivery teams. The position combines managerial responsibilities with in-depth hands-on technical expertise. 

    Responsibilities

    Essential Functions:

    • Acts as a technology owner, accountable for deployment and maintenance of EBS products and services. Ensuring that all EBS applications are functioning sufficiently to meet key business deliverables. 
    • Establishes direction and clear sense of meaning to inspire teams in creating their own connection and passion to the business goals; orients others around a shared vision
    • Manages concurrent, high visibility products/projects/services using agile methods in a fast-paced environment that may cross multiple business divisions; blends traditional project management principles and practices with agile development approach to fit large, enterprise-level initiatives
    • Identifies risks, mitigation plans, operational readiness criteria, deployment success factors, and drives deliverables for production launches
    • Develops/maintains methods to measure customer satisfaction; obtains feedback to ensure that efforts are meeting customer expectations for time, cost and quality
    • Maintains overarching responsibility for executing best practices approaches and methodologies (ex: ITIL, Agile/ Scrum, SDLC, SOA, etc.) for the support and sustainability of solutions.
    • Ensures the teams alignment to Agile and DevOps practices.

    Supervisory or Management Responsibility:

    • Management responsibility for the team, including hiring, leadership, development and accountability for performance. 
    • Acts as Coach-Leader, coaching others in their development as a leader and/or a more complex problem solver.
    • Plans and develops people organization including but not limited to: coaching and mentoring, succession planning, proactive identification of resource gaps, etc. for a team of direct and indirect reports
    • Manage enterprise job scheduling application delivery team (AUTOSYS), DBA team, PeopleSoft administrators, and hosted applications.

    Budget Responsibility:

    • Contributes to the development of application management departmental budgets and actively manages budget to plan.
    • Approves and reviews budgets and operational expenditures
    • Assumes fiscal responsibility including overall budget performance for the acquisition, development, installation, implementation and maintenance of enterprise business systems
    • Shares fiscal responsibility for the organization’s technology investments and future planning of the organization’s spend, to avoid unnecessary and duplicative services

    Qualifications

    Minimum Education and/or Experience:

    • Bacehlor's degree in Business, Information Systems, or equivalent; advanced degree desirable
    • CertificationProject Management certification and ASAP Project Management certification a plus 
    • Minimum of 8-10 years of IT leadership experience program/project management experience, to include:
    • Experience delivering large, complex programs consisting of multiple interrelated projects that span across multiple locations and/or functions
    • Successful management of large scale, global ERP programs
    • Management of large teams in a global environment
    • Developing, implementing and supporting large scale
    • Global leadership with ERP experience; implementing world-class processes and systems that significantly improve business operations both locally and on a global scale
    • Expertise and previous experience in leveraging outside partners supporting the company's development, maintenance, and infrastructure efforts.
    • Proficient in all phases of project delivery lifecycles
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Strong technical project management and/or leadership skills including the ability to plan, organize, and control activities
    • Experience working in an offshore/onshore collaborative environment
    • Ability to travel internationally without restrictions required.

    • Experienced in establishing a test automation strategy on an enterprise scalw
