Overview

Job Summary:

The EVOLVE Change Management Lead will direct a team of contract and employee change managers who provide dedicated change management and consulting support for change initiatives, as well as promote increased change capability in individuals and groups for a range of projects in the CTC/PTC and Finance value streams of the EVOLVE program. 

 

The Lead and his/her team will work closely with key  project team members, business process owners, business stakeholders, IS teams, and operating company partners to implement a change management framework that enables the deployment of concurrent projects and successfully prepares employees to adopt and sustain new behaviors and ways of working. 

 

The Lead will both maintain change management project leadership responsibilities and will support and oversee his/her team in the development and implementation of change plans, including communication planning, leadership, and stakeholder engagement, and learning and development planning to maximize employee adoption and raise the probability of success for the company’s highest-risk transformation initiatives. 

 

The Lead is expected to ensure the team achieves a high level of performance and quality in delivering exceptional business value to users and internal partners.  The Lead Change Manager reports to the Change Management Manger or Senior Manager.

Responsibilities

Essential Functions

  • Develop detailed knowledge and understanding of the business strategy, objectives, and goals within the CTC/PTC and Finance value streams of EVOLVE
  • Establish relationships with key project leaders/product owners, and business stakeholders
  • Promote and sponsor joint IS/business partner interaction (ensure the collaboration between delivery teams and business partners) to foster a collaborative working environment with the various business departments and IS teams
  • Lead a team of change management and organization development professionals aligned with his/her assigned delivery area(s)/vertical(s)
  • Develop a culturally aligned team of ACM professionals
  • Coach, mentor, and lead project team members (project team and internal customers), educating each in the processes and tools being used and their role in the change effort
  • Ensure that the team applies a structured change management methodology to change-related activities, including the design/development/delivery of training and communications
  • Aid team in increasing productivity; help remove barriers impacting team’s ability to deliver
  • Track and report issues to the Project Leadership Team and IS Leadership as needed
  • Manage the portfolio of assigned projects and change resource load of multiple projects as required
  • Establish and manage a cross-operating company Change Network of key business stakeholders and team members
  • Partner with system integrator to develop and execute change strategy.
  • Partner with the IS teams, business process owners, business leaders, communications, professional development and IS leadership (Delivery Managers and executives) to ensure that the program team is set up for successful delivery of projects within the CTC/PTC and Finance value streams.
Supervisory or Management Responsibility:
 
  • Manage 5-7contract or internal resources
  • Act as Coach-Leader, coaching others in their development as leaders of self and others; motivate and lead team members to achieve their optimum performance; Participate in the development of team members in the assigned vertical
  • Hold team members accountable for their commitments; Assume responsibility for execution of the ACM Strategic Change Strategy across all projects in the assigned vertical
  • Develop strong partnerships with OpCo and other  resources; collaborate with key partners to ensure shared ownership of exceptional user experiences and value delivery

Qualifications

Minimum Educaiton and/or Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Communications, Organizational Change, Business Management, or related fields
  • 5-7 years of experience as an IT Project, Change, Communications or Training Manager
  • Experience serving multiple customers at an enterprise level in a multi-phased project Excellent leadership skills
Skills/Abilities
  • Experience and knowledge of change management principles, methodologies, and tools
  • Proven successful track record working in large/complex multi-location programs/projects
