Overview

Job Summary:

The Senior Sourcing Specialist serves as the RFx Desk Lead, providing centralized intake, process uniformity, execution rigor, and analytical support for sourcing events across all procurement categories. This role reports into the Operations Team Lead and functions as a center-of-excellence resource for Category Managers and Stakeholders. While this role owns RFx process from end to end including the planning, execution, related analytics, and recommendations, the Category Managers remain the face of each sourcing event and retain overall ownership.

In-Office Requirement:

  • Required in-office presence at least 4 days per week

Responsibilities

Essential Functions:

  • Operate the RFx Desk and manage intake and prioritization of sourcing requests.
  • Advise on sourcing approaches (RFI, RFQ, RFP, or direct award).
  • Lead RFx event planning and execution including documentation, supplier communications, and evaluations.
  • Perform proposal reviews, bid normalization, TCO modeling, and supplier stack ranking.
  • Prepare award recommendations and support negotiations led by Category Managers.
  • Ensure sourcing decisions are compliant, auditable, and defensible.
  • Lead or support other Procurement projects.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Minimum Education and/or Experience:

Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management or similar discipline

Salary Range:

$71,400 - $107,000

The position is bonus eligible

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
