Overview

Job Summary:

As an Information Services (IS) Manager within the Connected Program, this role serves as a senior delivery and platform leader responsible for platform-level data integrity, product quality, and intelligent capability adoption across Connected solutions.

 

This manager operates at the intersection of platform engineering, data, AI, and product delivery, ensuring Connected products are reliable, scalable, measurable, and continuously improving based on real usage and outcomes. The role emphasizes data-driven quality management, AI-enabled optimization, and systemic improvement across Salesforce, data platforms, and integrated enterprise services.

 

The IS Manager leads teams responsible not just for building features, but for ensuring Connected products perform, scale, and deliver sustained business value, using analytics, automation, and AI-enabled insights to inform decisions and prioritize investments.

Responsibilities

Essential Functions:

With a Platform, Data, & AI Focus this role is accountable for:

  • Platform-level data quality, consistency, and usability
  • Product health, reliability, and adoption signals
  • Applying AI to improve delivery efficiency, product outcomes, and user experience
  • Ensuring Connected products scale responsibly across operating companies
  • Lead teams responsible for platform-level delivery, with a strong focus on data quality, system reliability, and product health
  • Own Connected product quality metrics, including stability, performance, adoption, and downstream business impact
  • Partner with Product, Architecture, and Data teams to define quality standards and data contracts at the platform level
  • Establish and maintain data pipelines and telemetry that surface product usage, behavior, and outcomes

 

Leverage AI and advanced analytics to:

  • Detect quality issues earlier
  • Identify usage patterns and adoption barriers
  • Inform prioritization and roadmap decisions
  • Ensure Salesforce and integrated platforms are designed with scalability, observability, and automation in mind
  • Drive consistent implementation of best practices related to data modeling, integrations, testing, and release quality
  • Use insights from data and AI to recommend product improvements, deprecations, or investment shifts
  • Partner with Connected Program leadership to ensure delivery aligns to enterprise priorities and measurable outcomes
  • Champion continuous improvement by reducing manual effort, rework, and defects through automation and intelligence

 

Supervisory or Management Responsibility:

  • Act as Coach-Leader, coaching others in their development as leaders, catalyzing the growth of people’s capacity to embrace greater complexity, and responsible for platform delivery, data, and quality outcomes
  • Coach teams to think beyond feature completion toward system health, user impact, and scale readiness
  • Establish clear ownership for platform data domains and quality accountability
  • Embed AI-first thinking into how teams plan, deliver, and operate products
  • Drive a culture of evidence-based decision making, using data instead of anecdote
  • Partner closely with Product, Architecture, and Enterprise Data leaders to align execution
  • Oversee performance management with an emphasis on outcomes, not just output

 

Budget Responsibility:

  • Develops and manages budget
  • Produces monthly forecasts
  • Approves operational expenditures
  • Determines variance of actual to forecast and takes action to correct/explain variances
  • Plans capacity fluctuations based on roadmap of features

Qualifications

Minimum Education and/or Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in information systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Data, or a related field
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in Information Technology, software delivery, or platform engineering
  • 3–5 years of people leadership experience managing managers, senior engineers, or platform-oriented teams
  • Demonstrated experience operating at a platform or product-system level, beyond single-application delivery
  • Strong background working with enterprise data, including data quality, integrity, observability, and governance concerns
  • Experience managing product quality, reliability, and operational health for enterprise platforms
  • Proven ability to use data, analytics, and/or AI-assisted insights to guide prioritization, quality improvements, and execution decisions
  • Experience delivering solutions within large-scale transformation programs.
  • Hands-on exposure to Salesforce and/or similar enterprise platforms, including integrations and shared data models
  • Experience partnering with Product, Architecture, Data, and Security teams to influence direction without sole ownership

 

Skills/Abilities:

  • Strong experience leading platform-oriented teams rather than purely feature teams
  • Deep understanding of data quality, system observability, and product health metrics
  • Proven ability to translate data and AI insights into execution decisions
  • Experience working with Salesforce platform data models and enterprise integrations
  • Ability to reason about systemic product quality issues across teams and workflows
  • Comfort operating in ambiguity and influencing roadmap decisions without formal authority
  • Demonstrated success using analytics, automation, or AI to improve delivery outcomes
  • Strong executive communication skills; able to explain complex platform and data topics simply
  • Bias toward root-cause analysis, reuse, and scalability

 

Office Requirements:

  • Required in office at least 4 days a week out of our headquarters in Hanover, MD or offices in Jacksonville, FL

Salary Range:

  • $131,864 - $197,796
  • The position is bonus-eligible

 

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
